When patients first visit Dr. Branch, he first performs an initial three to four hour intake interview in which he creates a personalized patient map to diagnose the patient’s illness and environmental factors associated with it. People often don’t recognize environmental or social components aggravating their problems until they sit and discuss them.

Dr. Branch uses the interview to learn about a patient’s emotional and physical symptoms. This is important not only to provide Dr. Branch insight as to the patient’s ailment, but, as he explains it, “Each person has a certain “energetic imprint” out of which imbalances spring.” Dr. Branch uses the initial interview to track where a patient’s emotional, mental, and physical symptoms come together. He firmly believes that when it comes to deep healing, putting an experience into words provides him with far more information than lab tests.

After the initial consultation, Dr. Branch will choose to either study the case further or make a prescription for the homeopathic remedy that matches a patient’s “energetic imprint.” Finding an exact, curative prescription for a patient usually takes time and effort. Most cases can be solved within a four-month period.

There are usually three follow-up appointments, the first occurring about one month after the patient takes the first dose of the remedy. At this session, Dr. Branch evaluates his patient’s response, discuss nutritional and nutriceutical choices, educates the patient in the different energetic levels of healing, and, if necessary, refines the treatment.

Additional follow-up sessions occur once a month thereafter, with each session lasting between 30-45 minutes. Since homeopathic remedies are one substance among thousands, Dr, Branch may need to re-interview a patient in order to pinpoint the proper match.

At the end of four months, many patients will to continue their treatment with a maintenance program with occasional follow-up sessions; others may still need more intensive work to bring the case to a close.

For those patients who no longer need treatment for a illness, Dr. Branch offers a preventative program for patients looking to remain in the practice. It is not uncommon when patients become ill with a cold or flu to call Dr. Branch for assistance rather than their regular doctor.

If a patent has chronic disease and is dependent upon pharmaceutical drugs, it is possible to begin homeopathic treatment while the patient remains on the medicine. As the homeopathic treatment takes effect, the drugs, in many cases, can be gradually discontinued.
